The invention relates to a device for fastening a post or pole to the ground. The subject of the invention is a device for fastening a post or pole to the ground, characterised in that it comprises a cementing cup 1 provided with appropriate means for anchoring to the ground and capable of receiving the foot 15 of the post or pole with interposition of a bush 14 made of a relatively elastic material and a clamping yoke 9 attached onto the said cup 1 and capable of compressing at least part of the said bush 14 against the foot 15 of the post or pole.
