PURPOSE:To reduce the capacity of a data file by deleting the consecutiveness of the same data and controlling compressed data with a relative position and a compressed length. CONSTITUTION:A compressed data preparing part 1 searches original data from the top and looks for the consecutiveness of the same data, and when the consecutiveness of the same data exists, the part 1 sets the relative position, the compressed length, and the pattern length of header information about the compressed data and sets data obtained by deleting data for the compressed length of the header information from the original data to a data part. An original data restoring part 2 restores the compressed data stored in a compressed data storing part 3 to the original data by referring to the header information. |
