<p>PURPOSE: To cut printed matters during conveyance along a predetermined cutting end fringe by providing a counterknife in each conveyance unit and arranging a fixed cutting knife cooperating with this counterknife along a closed passage. CONSTITUTION: Multilayer printed matters 2 conveyed continuously in a continuous process are cut by utilizing a plurality of conveyance units 12 rotating in a closed passage and operating so as to receive at least one printed matter 2. At this time, each conveyance unit 12 is provided with at least one counterknife 31, and a position of the printed matter 2 in the conveyance unit 12 is adjusted for fixed cutting knives 14, 15, 16 provided along the closed passage due to the cooperation of the counterknife 31 and a link 17. The printed matter during convetance is cut along a cutting end fringe thereof due to the cooperation of the counterknife 31 and the fixed cutting knives 14, 15, 16 in this condition.</p> |
