Filter for use on the suction pump of a sprayer. Liq is drawn into the outer case through at least one opening near its base. Inside the case is a hollow cylindrical body with a number of holes along its length. The grill filter itself is held around this body, and the liquid is drawn through it, and the holes in the central body, by a suction pump. A nozzle is attached to the top of the outer case by ultrasonic welding. The nozzle is equipped with a suitable fitting for attachment to the suction pump, and it is linked to the central space in the filter, so filtered liq is withdrawn via this route. USE/ADVANTAGE - In a paint, varnish, or lacquer spray gun, to supply clean liquid to the pump and spray gun, avoiding blockages and irregular flow. The filter mesh is kept submerged in fluid, even when the outer case is only partly covered, preventing it from becoming blocked by dry paint etc. The outer case is relatively small, about 6cm in diameter, so it fits easily into the liq container.
