PURPOSE:To change musical sound contents from the start to the end of emission of generated musical sounds by reading out respective waveforms, which are arbitrarily combined and selected in accordance with one sound producing indication, in a common read step by time-division processing and synthesizing them by accumulation. CONSTITUTION:A processing program to generate a musical sound signal, tone color data related to the waveform and the envelope, and waveform data RD are stored in a ROM 20. Two waveforms are selected for one tone color by bank data read out from an assignment memory circuit 32. Data related to the envelope from the circuit 32 passes a multiplier 70 from an envelope generator 60 and is accumulated by a sequence accumulating circuit 90 with respect to each sequence and is outputted as sounds from a sound system 110 through a D/A converter 100. Four musical sound generating systems are formed in time division in the converter 100, and the generating system to which musical sound data should be sent is determined by the circuit 90 in accordance with sequence data GR from the circuit 32. |
