PURPOSE:To facilitate the connection of the hook part of a lock spring by freely adjusting the position of a release rod which carries out the lock release, for a release arm, in the constitution in which a rotary piece which revolves in interlocking with a parking brake pedal is locked by a lock spring. CONSTITUTION:A lock mechanism arranged onto a base 1 installed onto a car body is constituted of an axis body 14 which forms the revolution center of a brake pedal 11, fixing piece 13 formed integrally with the axis body 14, and a rotary piece 12 which is connected with one edge of the brake pedal 11 and revolves in interlocking with the pedal 11, and a locking spring 7 which is externally installed onto the rotary piece 12. A lock releasing mechanism is equipped with a release rod 4 and a release arm 2, and the hook part 7a of a lock spring 7 is engaged with the edge part of the release rod 4, and the diameter of the locking spring 7 is spread by the rightward movement, and the lock of the rotary piece 12 is released. The position of the release rod 4 for the release arm 2 is carried out by the operation of an adjusting nut 5. |
