<p>A glove (10) for use by medical personnel which is adapted to help prevent accidental injuries when handling needles includes a first discrete layer (22) of flexible material which has a pore size smaller than the diameter of a needle. The first layer (22) forms a glove with at least an opening (30, 32) in the fingerprint area of the index finger stall (12) and middle finger stall (14). The glove also includes a second discrete layer (24) of flexible material which also has a pore size which is smaller than the diameter of a needle. This second layer (24) is permanently attached to selected areas of the first layer (22). The selected areas comprise all of the thumb stall (20), and lateral sides of the index finger stall (12) and middle finger stall (14).</p> |
