Process for obtaining pure, essentially neutral organic compounds which are not easily volatilized and which contain reactive olefinic double bonds from raw materials which contain these compounds in a liquid phase, as well as smaller quantities of acidic reagents and/or corresponding additives, by neutralization and separation of the salts formed. In order to obtain pure products which have low residual acid numbers and low colour values, even without undergoing distillation, the neutralization is carried out with solid, finely powdered oxides, carbonates and/or hydroxides of alkali or alkaline earth metals and the organic phase is then separated from the finely powdered solid phase. Preferably, oxides and/or hydroxides of calcium and/or magnesium are used for the neutralization. |
