PURPOSE:To suppress harmonic components of a power supply system by providing an AC filter consisting of a tuning filer and a higher order filter to a power supply system and a load in parallel, and providing a pulse width modulation system power converter to the other end of the AC filter in series. CONSTITUTION:The fifth or the seventh harmonic tuning filter consisting of a capacitor 31 or 33 and a reactor 32 or 34 is included between a three phase AC system power supply 1 and a load, and a parallel circuit of resistance 35 and reactor 36 is connected to an AC filter 3 provided with a higher order filter of a series circuit with a capacitor 37 in parallel. A PWM converter 5 is connected in series through a transformer 7 and an AC reactor 4, and harmonic components are prevented at a three phase bridge circuit of switching elements S1-S6. According to the constitution, the harmonic components of the power system 1 are suppressed, and a supply current can be limited to only a fundamental wave current. |
