Heated decorative strip (dekotherm)

The dekotherm strip is an electrically heated profiled strip. It serves as a decorative strip having a built-in electrical heating system, to prevent the formation of mould on ceilings and walls in badly-ventilated rooms. It is mounted on the wall approximately 5 cm below the ceiling of the dwelling. By means of the heat emitted, the dekotherm strip prevents the rising humid air condensing on the cooler walls. As a result of the heat emitted, wall and ceiling remain dry. Two controls are provided: 1. with follow-up control 2. with hydro control. The patent rights extend to all profiled strips having an electrical heating system.
