<p>PURPOSE:To fix the operating time and thereby to carry out stabilized operation by specifying the thickness of the packed bed when oil-contg. iron sludge is packed in a heating chamber. CONSTITUTION:The powder of iron or iron generated from the steel industry, etc., and contg. oil, namely the oil-contg. iron sludge, is heated in a closed vessel to removed the oil. In this case, the operation for the regeneration of the sludge is made efficient and stabilized by controlling the thickness of the sludge-packed bed to 200-400mm. In addition, the relation between the thickness of the packed bed and the operating time is listed in Table 1.</p> |
