In order to seal a structural part (12) extending beyond a roofing skin (14), provision is made for a panel (16) which is provided with a cutout (20). The cutout (20) corresponds to the cross-section of the structural part (12). Integrally formed on the border of the cutout (20) is a projecting ring (22) over which the bottom end (26) of a sleeve (24), which is laid around the structural part (12), engages. The connection of the panel (16) to the roofing skin, of the panel (16) to the sleeve (24) and of the sleeve (24) to the structural part (12) takes place via a weather-resistant adhesive (18, 28).
