MANUFACTURE OF ALUMINUM EXTRUDED/BENT PRODUCTS AS AUTOMOBILE FRAME, BUMPER, SIDE SEAL, AND THE LIKE

PURPOSE:To form a bent part without generating defects, etc., in an extruded shape by giving a bending to the extruded shape by using a fixed die as a fulcrum with acting a movable die on the extruded shape. CONSTITUTION:A bending device 2 is located before and near an extruding device 1. Aluminum material to be extruded in a container is extruded through the forming hole 6 of an extruding die 4 into an extruded shape 14. The extruded shape 14 is passed through pass holes 9, 10 of both the dies 7, 8 of a bending device 2 and is moved forward. Under this condition, the extruded shape 14 is given a bending by using the fixed die 7 as the fulcrum with acting the movable die 8. Then the bent part 15 is formed on the extruded shape 14. Thus extruded/bent product is manufactured efficiently.
