<p>PURPOSE: To improve a machine tool so as to use it with flexibility by arranging a tool unit which includes an upper side tool and a lower side tool within a guide frame on a matrix plate instead of the lower side tool within a proper tool housing part and furthermore connecting it to a driving tool supporting body. CONSTITUTION: Two or more tool housing parts 4 having a proper upper side tool 5 are provided in a row in an upper side tool supporting body 3 and vertically and movably attached to a three-side opened nearly C-shaped machine frame with a driving carriage 2. Also, proper numbers of tool housing parts 7 having a proper lower side tool 8 are provided in a row in a lower side tool housing part 7 and attached to the frame 1 with a matrix plate 9. In the machine tool having such a constitution, instead of the lower side tool 8 within the proper tool housing part 7, a tool unit 13 including an upper side tool 10 and a lower side tool 11 within a guide frame 12, especially a cutting unit or coping unit is arranged on the matrix plate 9 and furthermore connected to the upper side tool supporting body 3 for driving.</p> |
