A shipping carton (10) includes a plurality of generally rectangular panels (12) with hinge means (14) between at least each two adjacent panels (12). The panels (12) can be extended and placed at about right angles from each other to form a sidewall (16) having an open top portion (18) and an open bottom portion (20). A pair of support trays (22, 24) each comprising a panel member (26, 30) and four side members (28, 32) that extend therefrom fit over the bottom portion (20) and top portion (18) of the sidewall (16) to enclose the carton (10). In a preferred embodiment, spaced-apart inserts (34) and liner members (38, 40) can be provided which fit within each support tray (22, 24). Means is also provided to secure the carton (10) for shipping. |
