PURPOSE:To improve the safety and controllability by mounting a hydraulic pressure generation on a drafting jack. CONSTITUTION:A hydraulic drafting device of a rolling mill is provided with a drafting jack 8 and a hydraulic pressure generator 1. The generator 1 is provided with a servo pump 3, an electric motor 2 driving the pump 3, and a tank 4. The generator 1 is mounted on the jack 8. The hydraulic drafting device is fixed to the generator 1 and a rolling mill housing near to the jack 8. Thus, space saving and reduction of fluid leakage are achieved. |
