摘要 PURPOSE:To decrease the length of a pump piping, to reduce the number of spots where a corrosion resistant material is used, and to relieve a sea water pump load, by a method wherein the cylinder cooling jacket system of a diesel engine for a ship is formed integrally with a supercharged air cooling system. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder jacket 27 is connected to a fresh water cooler 21 through a cooling water feed pipe 25 and a cooling water return pipe 26, and sea water is guided to the fresh water cooler 21 through a sea water pump 23. A part of the cooling water cooler 25 is guided to the interior of the low temperature part of a supercharged air cooler 28, and a part of the cooling water return pipe 26 is guided into the high temperature part of the supercharged air cooler 28. A heat exchanger 29, used as, for example, a heat source for an air conditioner for the interior of a ship, is disposed down the cooling water pipe 26 from the supercharged air cooler 28, and a cooling water circulating pump 30 is located up the cooling water pipe from the supercharged air cooler 28.
