Vacuum heat insulations

The vacuum of large-surface-area, planar vacuum heat insulations, and the vacuum of angled-off or space-enclosing (room-enclosing) or partially space-enclosing vacuum heat insulations, is enclosed by high-strength, partially also angled-off steel sheets of producible rolled widths. The steel sheets, by means of suitable adhesives, are connected to one another in a permanently sealed and permanently fixed manner, and the air pressure, which acts on the steel sheets in the direction of the vacuum, is intercepted by creep-resistant supports which have a low thermal conductivity and consist of plastic or steel, and a fibrous material, comprising fine fibres, or a foam material, for pronounced reduction of the passage of heat, is located in the vacuum.
