COIL WITH MAGNETIC CORE MADE FROM GRAIN-ORIENTED IRON SHEETS

A coil with a magnetic core made from grain-oriented iron sheets contains at least one coil (2). Said core consists of a blocking core (3) and a sheet metal core (1) which carries the coil(s) (2) and contains iron sheets arranged perpendicular or approximately perpendicular to the iron sheets of the blocking core (3). An insulating layer (6) is provided between the stack of metal sheets in the sheet metal core (1) and that of the blocking core (3).
