PURPOSE:To obtain a capsule toner which is easily stuck on backing, and does not contaminate the peripheries of pictures, and the operators' hands, clothing, etc. by contg. a hardenable material in a core material and providing a hardener for the hardenable material on the surfaces of shells. CONSTITUTION:A capsule toner is constituted of a core material contg. display recording materials and shells convering the core material, and a hardenable material is contained in the core material. A hardener for the hardenable material is provided on the surfaces of the shells. Ordinary materials used as hardenable adhesive agents are used as the hardenable material, among which polysulfide, polyepoxide, polyisocyanate and unstad. polyester are more particularly useful. The hardener may be provided on the surfaces of the shells by mixing the hardner simply with the capsule toner after grinding the toner to powder or by dissolving the hardener or adding a solvent dispersed with the hardener to the toner and removing the solvent in either of processes from the end of capsuling up to grinding to powder. |
