PURPOSE:To accurately rotate a stepping motor to a predetermined angle by applying driving pulses of the number corresponding to a counted value when one or more abnormal pulses are counted, and driving the motor until the counted value becomes zero. CONSTITUTION:Transistors Q1-Q4 and a resistor R are connected in series with the coils L1-L4 of a stepping motor 41. A comparator 70 for comparing a voltage Vin across the resistor R with a reference voltage Vth, is connected to a counter 71 for counting the number of signals exceeding the reference voltage Vth. A microcomputer 72 has a function of sending motor driving pulses to the transistors Q1-Q4. If the value of the counter 71 is 1 or more, the driving pulses of the number corresponding to the counted value are applied again to the motor 41 to continuously drive the motor 41 until the counted value becomes zero. |
