PURPOSE:To simplify a structure and at the same time facilitate assembling and adjustment by a method wherein a weight is supported through vibration proof members mainly composed of rubber in a casing so as to realize a vibration system with one degree of freedom with a same resonance frequency as that of the structure. CONSTITUTION:A weight 21 is supported in a metallic casing 22 under the state being dangled in space by means of the vibration proof members 23 arranged symmetrically in two vertical or horizontal stages. Each vibration proof member 23 is mainly composed of rubber and formed in a column and equipped with mounting bolts at its both ends. Because the rigidity in the Z-direction (in the direction normal to the plane of the attached figure) of the weight 21 can be minimized (according to the construction as mentioned above), the weight 21 in the metallic casing 22 can be regarded as a vibration system with only one degree of freedom in the Z-direction in the vicinity of resonance frequency in the Z-direction. Accordingly, the resonance amplitude of the vibration can be reduced. |
