A method of making fibre reinforced, spatial grids is used for the formation of stiff and strong grids. The method is suitable for continuous mechanical manufacturing. The grid is made of intersecting resin-saturated rovings (8) laid into grooves (2, 3) of the mould (1) while under tension in the longitudinal direction. The rovings are laid continuously by laying means (9). The mould (1) is rotated synchronously with the roving laying means (9) so that the laying means (9) always register with the grooves (2, 3) of the mould. The grid is heat cured and the groove forming elements (5) of the mould (1) are displaced completely into the mould bottom (4). Hereby the grid may easily be removed by displacement along the mould (1). |
