CONSTITUTION:In a submarine cable consisting of an optical fiber unit 1, a metallic body 2, a fiber unit 3, tensile bodies 4, a metallic pipe 5 and a PE covering 6, the clearance coefft. of the bodies 4 is set at 0.12-0.28, whereby transmission losses are reduced. |
