Seal and filler coupling for vehicle fuel tank - is tank fill pipe with cam coupling to sealing cap and bayonet fastening to filling hose during use

A seal and filter coupling consists of a tank fillpipe with can coupling to a cap and via a bayonet fastening to a filling hose during tanking. The cap (3) should swivel self-lockingly round axis (11a) on lever (4) and swivel with the lever round axis (11b) so as to shut onto the fillpipe (1). A lever extension (7) is moved positively by the coupling (5) of the hose (6) and thus moves the lever and cap from open to closed setting agaisnt the fillpipe. A spring holds the lever in the open position and swings it into the cap- position after the hose is remvoed. An end stop (18) moulded onto the cap works with the lever and limits the 90 deg. opening movement of the sealing cap. USE/ADVANTAGE - Moror vehicles, fuel tanks, sealing cap is permanently joined to tank fillpipe and is moved positively between open and clsoed settings depending on tanking hose position.
