<p>PURPOSE:To aim at the promotion of pressing force optimization and system miniaturization by constituting a pressing means to a loading sheet on a paper feed tray with an energizing means whose energizing force varies according to a weight of constant weight and loadage, in a sheet feeder for a copying machine or the like. CONSTITUTION:A sheet is supported in the upper part of a paper feed roller 16, while a weight 17 being pressed to the side of this roller 16 is supported on a pivot 30a liftably along a circular hole 20a installed in a side plate via a weight arm 14a, respectively. Then, a tension spring 29a is installed in and around the center of this weight arm 14a, and spring tension is made so as to be added according to a quantity of sheets. With this constitution, since spring energizing force is addable according the sheet quantity, the weight is miniaturized and pressing force can be optimized, and what is more, a sheet feeder can be miniaturized as well.</p> |
