PURPOSE:To obtain an airbag whose shape can be formed and fixed in an arbitrary necessary shape at the time of using by filling an airtight bag with styrene foamed beads, pressure-reducing the inside of the bag body, simultaneously, mutually engaging and solidifying the styrene foamed beads, and forming the bag body in the necessary shape. CONSTITUTION:An airtight bag body 3 is formed in the bag body shape of a non-permeable film 2, and the inside of the airtight bag body 3 is filled with styrene foamed beads 4. To the bag body 3, a resin pipe 6 and an air open/close cock 7 for degasing are provided. In the air route of the pipe 6, an air net 8 is provided, and the styrene foamed beads 4 are prevented from jumping outside the bag body 3 together with the air. When the air in the airtight bag body 3 is degased, the styrene foamed beads 4 are properly squashed, and when the inside of the airtight bag body 3 is in a weak vacuum condition, the styrene foamed beads 4 are not completely engaged and solidified, and an airbag 1 can be deformed in the arbitrary shape to be used. When the air in the airtight bag body 3 is further degased, the airbag 1 maintains the necessary shape, and simultaneously, the styrene formed beads 4 are squashed and completely engaged and solidified. |
