FIXED POSITION STOPPING MECHANISM FOR BODY TO BE CONVEYED AND TICKET PROCESSING MACHINE USING SAME MECHANISM

PURPOSE:To improve the processing speed and conveying speed with simple constitution by stopping the body to be conveyed at different specific positions in a conveyance direction with high accuracy during the continuous operation of a conveying means or specific processing at the different positions of the body to be conveyed. CONSTITUTION:The primary rotation control means 21a of a controller 21 supplies a specific number of pulses corresponding to stop position specification information to a stepping motor 18 according to stop position specification information and rotates the motor until a specific stop projection cuts off the conveyance surface, so the body which is conveyed is stopped at a specific position by the stop projection. The detection signal output of a proximity detector is used to perform processing for the conveyed body which is stopped by the stop projection a specific time after the point of time. The processing position of a processing means is constant about the conveyance path, so processing is performed for a specific position corresponding to the stop position of the conveyed body. Consequently, the processing and conveyance of the conveyed body are performed speedily with the simple constitution.
