<p>PURPOSE:To minimize the consumption of a power source battery by supplying power to a required part in a handy terminal equipment only at the time of necessity. CONSTITUTION:A handy terminal equipment 10 is provided with an acoustic coupler 12, an LCD display device 14, a membrane type keyboard 16, a key switch 18, a hand-written graphic input pad 20, and a power switch 22, and a base unit 24 has a pedestal 26, a power transmission coil 28, and an optical coupler 30. Power is supplied to each circuit unit only when the operation of this circuit unit is required. Thus, the consumption of the power source battery is minimized.</p> |
