PURPOSE:To provide the subject ink containing an alkylene oxide adduct composed mainly of a butylene oxide of a specific amino compound, free from regeneration of image with water and having various excellent printing properties and improved desensitizing effect and set-off property. CONSTITUTION:The objective ink contains an addition product produced by adding 4-70mol of an alkylene oxide to 1mol of an amino compound of formula (R1 and R2 are lower alkylene: n is 0-4; m is 1-4) wherein >=40mol% of said alkylene oxide is butylene oxide. The remaining <=60mol% is preferably propylene oxide or butylene oxide.
