MEMORY CARD LOADING DETECTING METHOD AND DATA PROCESSING METHOD FOR MEMORY CARD AND CARRYING TERMINAL

PURPOSE:To facilitate to detect whether a memory card is loaded in the carrying terminal or not according to the state of an electric signal to be generated at a check terminal by providing the memory card with the check terminal. CONSTITUTION:A memory part 12 to store various kinds of data and a power source part 14 as a check signal generating part which supplies power to the memory part 12 and simultaneously, generates a check signal are attached to the IC memory card 10. Further, plural terminals 16 for transmitting and receiving the data and plural terminals 18 to transmit the check signal are provided at the end part of the card 10. Then, it can be easily detected whether the memory card 10 is loaded in the carrying terminal or not according to the electric signal to be generated from the check terminal 18 or the electric signal to be impressed to the check terminal 18.
