<p>PURPOSE:To make sure of curl straightening by a pressing part by installing this pressing part, pressing a sheet in the opposite direction to a curl, between two sets of roller pairs, and changing a rotational speed ratio of these roller pairs on the basis of the detected result of water content. CONSTITUTION:A sheet is conveyed by two sets of roller pairs set up distantly, and pressed to both upper and lower directions in the opposite direction to a curl by a pressing part 19 installed between these roller pairs 8 and 11, thus curl straightening takes place. Each rotational speed of these roller pairs 8 is made equal to the roller pairs at the discharge side of a fixing unit 108, and each rotational speed of the roller pairs 11 is made free of alteration by a motor. When water content of the sheet is detected out of a resistance value of the sheet and inputted into a control part, each drive motor of the roller pairs is operated by the detected result, and respective rotational speed ratios of these two set of roller pairs 8, 11 are changed. Therefore a sheet speed between both the roller pairs 8 and 11 is changed so that the curl straightening by the pressing part 19 is properly performed.</p> |
