PURPOSE:To provide the titled polyester compsn. which has a high crystallization rate and gives impact-resistant moldings, by adding a rubbery polymer to a specified modified polyalkylene terephthalate. CONSTITUTION:0.1-30wt% polyoxyalkylene compd. contg. at least one organometallic salt such as disodium polyethylene glycol diphthalate is incorporated in a polyalkylene terephthalate polymer such as polyethylene terephthalate or polybutylene terephthalate. Then 1-50wt% rubbery polymer such as a methyl methacrylate-butadiene-styrene copolymer is blended with the resulting modified polyalkylene telephthalate.
