PURPOSE:To improve a utilizing factor of both of positive and negative electrode active materials, and to increase weight efficiency and volumetric efficiency by mixing a carbon whisker or a graphite whisker that the have electronic conductivity with at least either the positive or negative electrode active materials. CONSTITUTION:With at least either positive or negative electrode active materials, a carbon whisker or a graphite whisker that have electronic conductivity is mixed. Diameter of the whisker is defined as not more than 10mum, an aspect ratio is not less than 50, and a specific surface area is not less than 2m<2>/g. As for the amount of the whisker, 1-10wt.% for a ratio of a non-formed positive electrode active material, while for a formed one, 0.01-3wt.%, and for a negative electrode, 0.01-3wt.% in every case. The number of whisker is defined as not less than 1X10<9> per 1cm<3> of apparent volume of the active material. |
