PURPOSE:To facilitate setting of tuning toe-in of an elastic member by connecting an interior support point of a semi-trailing arm and a car body by means of a sub-arm interposing an elastic member and setting a spring constant of a semi- trailing arm side elastic member at a high level. CONSTITUTION:At an interior support point 10 of a suspension arm 6, a torsion bar 18 is fixed to a sub-arm 20 in a bracket 17, while the sub-arm 20 is rotatably supported by the suspension arm 6 through an elastic member 21 and pivot 22. At this time, the spring constant of the elastic body 21 is set at a level higher than that of the torsion bar spring. Due to such a configuration, since the elastic member 21 is deformed after twist deformation limit state of the torsion bar 18 at the time of a big bump, the sub-arm 20 is swung around a straight line Y. This causes a big change in chamber and operability as well as stability may be improved. |
