CONSTITUTION:When an ST switch 3 is turned ''ON'', a control circuit 10 allows a single bulb 12 to function as stop lamp. At this time, the ''L'' output of a speed meter 6 and the ''L'' output of an inverter 60 caused by the ''ON'' of the ST switch 3 are inputted to an NOR circuit 62, and its output is changed from ''L'' to ''H''. Therefore, a timer 63 is released from its set by the ''H'' output of the NOR circuit 62 and starts counting. Accordingly, when the count of the timer 63 exceeds a reference value, a comparator 64 outputs the ''H'' output, which is fed to a circuit 54, a transistor 52 turns a transistor 45 ''ON'' and turns a transistor 37 ''OFF'', and a control circuit 10 switches the brightness of the single bulb 12 from the stop lamp level to the tail lamp level. |
