PURPOSE:To facilitate the installation of a pad by installing the pad for steering switch apparatus onto a steering shaft through a slip suppressing nut for steering wheel. CONSTITUTION:A slip suppressing nut 20 for steering wheel is screwed through a seat metal 21 onto the screw shaft 17 of a steering shaft 3 which projects from a steering wheel 1. The boss 27 of a pad 4 is rotatably fitted through a bearing metal 26 onto the cylinder part 23 of the slip suppressing nut 20. A seat metal 28 is fitted onto the screw shaft part 24 of the slip suppressing nut 20, and a slip suppressing nut 29 for pad is screwed, and thus the slip suppressing for the pad 4 is permitted.
