The invention relates to a heat exchanger, mainly for being used with gas-fired devices - e.g. hot-air blowers or convectors -, where the media taking part in the heat exchange are separated by a wall, characterized by being provided with a duct enclosed by a wall, constituting the flow area for the media, said duct having a cross-sectional area diminishing in the direction of flow and having detrusions on either side of said wall.
