PURPOSE: To obtain a color proof as an accurate copy of a desired image by using each predetermined photosensitive element and color transfer element. CONSTITUTION: A photosensitive element is produced by forming a photosensitive layer containing an org. binder resin, a photopolymn. initiator, and a free radical polymerizable acrylate or methacrylate component on a transparent carrier which can be removed. A color transfer element is produced by forming a color transfer layer containing a coloring material and an org. binder resin on a substrate which can be removed. The org. binder resin has higher glass transition temp. than the laminating temp. and <=10% fracture elongation. The photosensitive element is laminated to a receiver base at high temp. and high pressure, and exposed imagewisely and the transparent carrier is removed. The transfer element is laminated to the photosensitive layer after exposure at high temp. and high pressure so that the color is transferred to the unexposed area of the image. Then a second photosensitive element is laminated to leave a second image on the first image. The third, fourth, images are added by the same method. Thus, a precise copy of the original can be obtd. by forming color separation films. |
