PURPOSE:To accomplish an enexpensive device which detects malfunction and performs a synchronous operation by permitting a motor controller to control each DC motor, detecting the malfunction of each DC motor through the pulse cycle of a speed detecting means, and transmitting an abnormality to a main controller. CONSTITUTION:A motor controller for copying machine is provided with the motor controller 19, which is connected to the DC motors M1-M6 so as to control then, the main controller 18, which is interfaced with the motor controller 19 through a serial communication line and executes the sequence control for a copying process, and a generating means, which generates the amount of operation through the operation from the pulse cycle of the speed generating means and a target speed which has received from the main controller 18. The motor controller 19 controls the DC motor M1-M6 based on the command which has received from the main controller 18, detects malfunctions of the DC motors M1-M6 from the pulse cycle of their respective speed detecting means E1-E6, and transmits the abnormality to the main controller 18. This accomplishes the inexpensive device which detects malfunction and easily performs the synchronous operation. |
