PURPOSE:To prevent the breakdown of a switching means by providing the switching means installed in the discharging circuit of main capacitor which discharges through a flash light emitting part, and a means which inputs the charge stored in the main capacitor and the controlling voltage impressed on the switching means from each external electrode. CONSTITUTION:The light emitting part of the flash FL is accurately controlled by the switching means Q5, the external power source supplies power source to both the light emitting part of the flash FL and the controlling parts of the switching means Q5, Q6 - Q9 and R20 - R29, and the voltages of Q6 - Q9 and R20 - R29 are at the required level for the switching control at the time of the light emission by the flash FL. Therefore, when the flash light is emitted under the condition that the BATT capacity of a battery used for internal power source is reduced, the controlling voltage of the switching means Q5 is at the level for the drive since the controlling power source for the switching means Q5 is supplied from the external power source. Thus, the breakdown of the switching means Q5 is prevented. |
