PURPOSE:To form a high-density dot image of high picture quality by dot exposure and reversal development by providing a photosensitive body which has a specific light attenuation curve. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive body has the light attenuation curve whose differentiation coefficient is small in absolute value when the quantity of light is small and increases abruptly as the quantity of light increases. Then a latent image forming process wherein an excellent dot latent image is formed by the dot exposure of spot light, specially, the dot exposure of pulse-width modulated spot light is incorporated following an electrostatic charging process and uniform exposure to constitute an image forming process wherein a reversal developing process is incorporated. Consequently, the sharp dot image is formed by the dot exposure and reversal development. |
