PURPOSE:To block the intrusion of rain water flowing on the outer surface of the upper frame into the air conditioner by forming a U-channel having the U-shaped section configuration on the inner circumference of the upper frame and the side frame of the outer opening of a rectangular air intake and outlet frame which penetrates the wall. CONSTITUTION:When it rains, the rain water flows on the outer surface of the exterior wall 1 and the outer surface of the upper frame 2 of an air intake and outlet frame 15 to be trapped by a D-channel 10 disposed in the upper frame. The trapped rain water flows sideways in the D-channel 10 to pass the vertical U-channel formed in the side frame to be discharged under the air intake and outlet frame 15. Because the rain water trickling from above is discharged below without crossing the opening 14 of the air intake and outlet frame 15, the rain water is not drawn into the air flow through the opening 14 and is prohibited from intruding into the air conditioner through the duct 6. |
