PURPOSE:To produce electrolytic MnO2 having superior characteristics by adding a specified amt. of PVA to an electrolytic soln. when electrolytic MnO2 in an Li primary cell, etc., contg. the electrolytic MnO2 as the anodic active material is produced by electrolysis. CONSTITUTION:When electrolytic MnO2 in an Li primary cell, a manganese cell, an alkali-manganese cell, etc., contg. the electrolytic MnO2 as the anodic active material is produced by electrolysis, 0.05-1.0g/l PVA is added to a soln. cong. manganese sulfate and sulfuric acid as an electrolytic soln. An Li primary cell, etc., having such superior characteristics as the discharge voltage and the discharge time can be produced by using electrolytic MnO2 produced by this method as the anodic active material. |
