<p>PURPOSE:To highly purify sewage, by partitioning a first and a second chambers by a partitioning means and partitioning the first chamber into the first and the second flow passages by a flow passage prescribing means. CONSTITUTION:At the time of operation, air is supplied to each air diffusion pipe 50 and an air lift pump 56 from an air supply source. Air bubbles are injected from each air diffusion pipe 50 to rise through a contact body 48 to impart rising force to sewage and the sewage of a bottom part is mixed with air bubbles to rise through a second flow passage 44. The air supplied to an air lift pump 56 rises through said air lift pump 56 and the sewage in the bottom part of a second chamber 24 is refluxed to the vicinity of an inflow port 18 through a pipe 58. The sewage flowing in a purifying tank 12 from the inflow port 18 flows through a first flow passage 42 from above to below and rises through the second flow passage 44 while contacting with the contact body 48. By this method, bacterial are activated and sewage is purified.</p> |
