PURPOSE:To clearly color in high density in contact with a developer and to improve the light-fastness of a coloring image by incorporating specific triphenylmethane compound as a coloring reactive dye. CONSTITUTION:This pressure sensitive recording material contains at least one type of triphenylmethane derivative represented by a formula (1) as a coloring reactive substance. In the formula (1), R<1>, R<2>, R<3>, R<4>, R<5> are at most 8C alkyl group or alkoxyalkyl group, 5-7C cycloalkyl group or benzyl group or phenyl group which may have at most 4C alkyl group or alkoxy group having a halogen atom as a substituent group, R<5> is at most 8C alkyl group or alkyl group, halogen atom or hydrogen atom, and R<1> and R<2>, R<3> and R<4> are coupled to form a heterocyclic ring. This compound has generally slow coloring properties to form a blue coloring image with satisfactory light-fastness. |
