PURPOSE:To have simple and accurate mounting of a window glass by setting a sash member over both side ends of the window glass covering the external surface of a pillar, and jointing the pillar with sash member using fastening pieces penetrating their slide surfaces. CONSTITUTION:The two side ends of a front window glass 1 cover the external surface of a front pillar 2, and the door window is continued to lath 3. Therein the side ends of the glass 1 are covered with a sash member 7. This glass 1 is fixed to the front pillar 2 with adhesive 8, which fills the space between a front pillar outer panel 10 and the spacer part 7c of sash member 7. Mutually facing slide surfaces 12, 13 are formed on the inner surface of a retainer part 7d at the sash member 7 and on the front pillar outer panel 10. The sash member 7 and front pillar 2 are coupled together using fastening pieces 14 such as screw, which penetrate the slide surfaces 12, 13. |
