摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a deodorant capable of sufficiently deodorizing with only a minute amt. by mixing the sintered powder of a main SiO2 ceramic added with Y and Ba, Mg-based ceramic sintered and reduced powder, and alumina powder. CONSTITUTION:The powder of the ceramic 1 consisting essentially of SiO2 is mixed with appropirate amts. of Y and Ba powder, and sufficiently blended. the product is sintered at about 1100-1700 deg.C for several hours to obtain a first ceramic. Meanwhile, an Mg-based ceramic is heated from room temp. to about 1100 deg.C in several hours, and sintered. The sintered product is cooled to room temp. in about one day by the reduction method to obtain a second ceramic. The first and second ceramics and alumina powder are mixed in a specified ratio. the mixture is powdered or compressed to obtain a deodorizing ceramic material 4. The deodorant has a sufficient deodorizing effect with only a minute amt., and also has durability and stability.
