PURPOSE:To increase reliability under trouble by providing an electric hydraulic pressure regulating means, a brake hydraulic pressure generating means interlocked with a brake pedal and selector valve means, and making it possible to supply hydraulic pressure generated in a brake hydraulic pressure generating chamber to a brake device when a hydraulic pressure supplier fails. CONSTITUTION:Modulators 1FR and 1FL as an electric hydraulic pressure regulating means for front right and front left wheel brake devices BFR and BFL and a modulator 1R commonly used for rear right and left wheel brake devices BRR and BRL are positioned in parallel with each other in a common housing 5. An auxiliary hydraulic pressure supplying device 33 is connected to each of the brake devices BFR, BFL, BRR, and BRL in parallel to each of the modulators 1FR, 1FL, and 1R. The auxiliary hydraulic pressure supplying device 33 is constructed of a brake hydraulic pressure generating means 34 interlocked with a brake pedal 32 and a selector valve means 35. The selector valve means 35 is so constructed that a hydraulic pressure chamber 48 is connected or separated to or from the brake device by a spool valve body 44 at both ends of which the hydraulic pressure chamber 48, connected to a brake hydraulic pressure generating chamber 40, and a hydraulic pressure source chamber 49 are positioned. |
