Overflow and emptying system for baths - has disc rotary motion converted into linear by rack-and-pinion with tube transmitting movement to valve and collecting water

The emptying and over flow system has a disc (35) placed in front of the overflow opening (12). The rotary motion of the disc is converted into linear motion by a mechanical system e.g. a pinion (33) cooperating with a rack (32). The linear motion is applied to a tube (31) having a double function of being a water collector and a movement transmission element. Its lower part extends into a rigid assembly bent at an angle, so that end is horizontal and is situated under the stem (7) of the discharge valve (8). It may alternately raise or lower the stem and the assembly of the mechanism is in the plane between the axes (5,11) of the emptying and overflow holes (2,12) respectively. USE - Esp. for bath(tub)s.
